Soon after the arrival of Luigi Perosio and Anna Parodi in Paysandú, Antonio Perosio — son of Francesco and Luigia Bondanza — emigrated from Genoa to Uruguay, in this case to the department of Artigas. Due to errors of that time, the surname became Perossio, with a numerous present-day descendancy. |
